Just Start

These questions are designed to go under the habitual thinking.

Your mind is a powerhouse.

You are born to move, grow, ignite and love your life. You have potential sitting inside you and when it lies stagnate, overwhelm and doubt will override your natural rhythm and cause you to feel broken. These emotions block us and hold us in an emotional pattern that robs us of creating and living on purpose. The questions are to crack you open. They are designed to evoke change in your patterns of thinking. We underestimate the power of thought and then wonder why we can’t get out of our own way. We sit, we wait, we feel, and we never BEGIN. Let’s change NOW.

Steven Pressfield, author of The War of Art has a saying, and I love it.

“Start before your ready, don’t prepare, begin.”

I have a series of questions for you that will ignite the action button in your mind, then you can’t help but to do the things in life you absolutely want to do. When you do this, overwhelm dissolves and now you can move and BE on purpose.

The feeling of overwhelm resides only because you created the idea. You are the thinker of your mind and you have absolute control over what is and what isn’t TRUE. The choice is yours.

Decide to begin and your destiny always follow.

What do you want?

When you look at this desire, how do you feel?

Write OUT what those emotions mean to you?

Write 3 ways you can make these feelings be here now.

What are you grateful for?

What do you need to do today to allow for these feelings?

Focusing on what you want vs. what you don’t want MOVES your energy. I challenge you to wake every morning and let those feelings be with you. Ask what you desire. Ask what you want. Listen for the answers and let the feelings in.

We often start our day in thought of what must be, instead, let’s ask what we want, need and feel amazing about. Being in positive mental attitude starts as an internal spark, then the energy takes life in action form.

I offer you a shift in internal processing, make gratitude a daily practice.

I encourage ASKING everyday for what you desire.

This is a simple task, yet not easy. Making time for asking usually feels uncomfortable. Asking is clarity, our brains need clarity. When we let the overwhelm start, it’s a negative energy and has weight. The weight of negativity adds up emotionally and eventually takes on the form of depression. The task of asking requires a daily dose! The patterns of positive only rewrite and override the power of negative when practiced.

Wake and ask.

If you find yourself in your day and overwhelm sets in, let that be a reminder to shift into asking.

  • What do I need?
  • Let it be enough.
  • How can I support this desire?
  • Take any action right now.

Always give yourself room to discover more. Ask every day and listen, listen to what comes in. You will feel this, and you will know what to do next, it’s spirit and its science.
